Doane Choir on iTunes!

Doane announces new MENC officers!

Doane’s MENC chapter has announced the new officers for the 2009-2010 academic year. Congratulations to all of those who were nominated. It will be a great year.

November Update

Greetings!,

Doane’s MENC group is in full swing this semester and will be attending the NMEA convention in Lincoln, NE this week. The group has approximately 30 MENC members going to the convention this week.

The 15th annual Fall Festival of Winds was held last weekend in the Communications Building at Doane College. 175 students from 50 schools participated in the festival in two bands, the Honor Band and the Festival Band.

Oct. MENC Update!!

Greetings!

Doane’s MENC chapter has started off on the right foot this year. We have several events coming up and just finished the MENC student recital this past weekend. Students performed at two nursing homes which was followed by at banquet (get-together).

Our MENC chapter will be participating in Doane’s “Fall Festival of Winds” this semester under the instruction of Dr. Jay Gilbert. Students will be performing various tasks to make sure the event runs smoothly.

Doane’s MENC chapter will also be participating in the NMEA convention on the 20th through the 22nd of November in Lincoln, NE. Students will have the opportunity to attend sessions and rehearsals of the all the All-state performers.
